How to create a character
To create a new character you will need to grab the basic information template below and create a thread with it in THIS board. Make sure you include everything. But know that the biography is optional.
After the basic information is complete you have two options. The first is that you can submit the basic information for grading. The staff will review it when they get a chance. If they find it acceptable they will approve the basic information. You will need to add the character's abilities by going to the shop board. You will be able to start roleplaying while waiting for the abilities to be graded and approved.
Alternatively, you can post the Abilities template as the second post in your character's thread. Fill out the ability section and then submit the profile for staff grading. The benefit of this is that your abilities and basic information will be approved at the same time. However, it usually takes much longer to get abilities approved than a basic information. You will not be able to roleplay until the basic information is approved.
Whichever method you choose, you will need to post in the NOTIFICATION THREAD to let staff know that the profile is ready to be looked at. Post a link to your character in that thread each time you need a staff to review it. When the staff approve the profile they will move it to the approved board, change the membergroup and update the database. If there are no abilities, an 'approved' message will be posted. If there are abilities, the staff will repost the abilities post.
