Using The Shop:
The Shop is used to get your starting abilities, if you did not include them with your basic information. This is also the place to purchase new abilities or edit the ones you have. Look at the sections below. Find the template you need and post it in this board. When you are ready to have it graded, post a link to it in this thread and staff will look at it when they get a chance. It usually takes staff 1-2 days to look at abilities and revisions. It usually takes 4-5 days for abilities to be approved.
Starting Abilities
A character can start with three abilities of their rank. You can substitute any of those abilities with artifacts. If you did not include the starting abilities with your basic information you will need to apply for them here. To do that create a thread in this board with the following template. Fill out the information and then link to it here when you need it looked at.
Purchase Abilities
To purchase new abilities, use this template. The price for abilities are as follows:
The cost of upgrading an ability is the difference in price between the two ranks. The price of an ability can be replaced by a training thread. The training thread should be half the length of a quest of the same rank as the ability you want.
Ability Limit
A character can have a maximum of 20 abilities or artifacts (event rewards not included). This cap can be increased by purchasing a special artifact called Ability+1. That will increase the cap to 24 abilities. Multiple instances of this artifact can be purchased. When you purchase a second one, Ability+1 will become Ability+2. Then Ability+3. Then Ability+4. There is no limit. The cost of the Ability+1 is 40,000 EXP.
Purchase Ranks
There are three ways to rank up a character. The first is to pass a difficult trial created by the staff. The second is to have four abilities of your current rank and then paying for the next rank. The third is to pay for the rank up without paying for abilities. If you purchase your character ranks, keep in mind that you must purchase each rank.
The Trial: A trial can be used to reach any rank up to Expert. Master and Legend can only be acquired from a site event or site plot. To do a trial, send a PM to one of the staff. Be warned that trials can be fairly difficult for a character without abilities of their current rank. They can also be failed. Staff will determine how long the trial is.
Buy Rank (Cheap): You can purchase a character rank up if your character has four abilities of their current rank. This can only be done if the character has completed at least one thread. The price of a rank up will be the following prices if those conditions are met:
Buy Rank (Expensive): A character rank up can be purchased without buying abilities, without doing trials and without completing threads. However, they will be more expensive than normal. Here are those prices:

You can revise your character's abilities by providing the new code here. This means you can change the name, effect or other details of the ability. Be warned that if you constantly revise your abilities we may limit your ability to do that from time to time.

Full Character Revision
Members can completely revise a character once a month. This means changing the class and abilities to turn a character into a new character. When you do that please use the starting abilities template and add to it.
