The Rules
Please Follow Them
In General:
Here are the site rules. These rules apply to the forum, cbox, icbox (if we get one) and discord. It also applies to anything linked to on the site. The first time someone breaks a rule they will be given a warning. After that they will be given a break from the site, cbox, discord or all three.
Be Respectful:
To the staff and your fellow members. Noone is coming here to fight or be insulted. If you do not agree with someone, then that is fine. Just stay away from that person. If the staff asks you to stop doing something, please listen.
Site Rating:
The site is PG-13. This is to follow Proboard's ToS. It means there should be no mature pictures or posts. Everything should be suitable for someone of age 13. If you are unsure if you should post something on the site, err in the side of caution. You can also ask the staff. Ecchi Face Claims are not banned, but know where to draw the line.
Post Length:
Quest posts must be at least 200 words. Other posts do not have a minimum post requirement. Those posts still need to have substance. They should respond to the other posts in the thread and give others something to reply to.
Stealing:
Stealing of any kind will not be tolerated. It does not matter if it is a member, a staff or an admin. If something of yours is being used without your permission, please let us know. We will do something about it. Furthermore, if we see any of the plugins, code or graphics from this site being used on other sites we reserve the right to do a permanent ban.
Killing and Dying:
CRP is NOT death enabled. In the event that a character would receive fatal damage they can use any number of explanations as to how their character did not die. That said, if two members agree to do a death enabled fight, we will enforce that. Furthermore, if we see a member constantly provoking another into a fight or making it sound like they could kill the other person's character we will enable death for their character. Moral of the story: don't be a jerk.
Patience:
It is a virtue. Yet, we know there are times when being patient goes too far. In each of the grading boards we have an estimated amount of time it should take for something to be looked at. If that time has passed, feel free to PM an admin and ask them what's up.
Activity:
There will be an Activity Check once a month. In this check members will be expected to post the names of the characters they have been using. Any characters that do not show up in the check will be archived.
Canon Activity:
Those members that have canon characters should post on those characters at least once every 10 days. In the event that you will be away you can post up an away message. Just be warned that we cannot hold an inactive canon position for more than a month.
Ability and Artifact Limits:
Abilities cannot instantly kill a person. Characters cannot be revived by an ability if they died in another thread. Abilities cannot warp or control another character's mind or personality without the member's consent.
Condensed Ability Descriptions:
If you look at the Ability Guide you will see talk of AP, HP, durations, etc. Confused? Intimidated? Wondering if you really need all that? Fortunately, you do not. You can choose to drop all of that. Have abilities with just names, ranks and descriptions. However, you will not be able to participate in major pvp events if you do this. Even then, we might make exceptions for people if multiple people want to pvp with those condensed descriptions.
