Biography
I stood at the ends of an unknown world
Eyes glistening and his lips quivering with joy. Ambrose, the young Kagani Elf, watched the little toy golems move to the command of the magician before him. The performance didn't last long before the golems collapsed back into the ground. Still it didn't change Ambrose's attitude about the performance; it was spectacular. This moment sparked Ambrose's constant passion for the art of Golemancy.
Growing up Ambrose yearned to see more of the world beyond the thick lush forests of Kagano. He and boys told each other fantasized imaginings of the outside world in hushed whispers; for it was forbidden by the Elven elders to speak of the outside world. The tribe taught the children the dangers of the world but this did little to deter Ambrose for he held an innocent arrogance.
Once Ambrose reached his mid-twenties and had proficiency with his craft he left to explore the outside world. He knew once he left he couldn't return. He would leave his family and friends behind. This was Ambrose's greatest hesitation, but he followed through with his selfish desires.
Seasons changed and adventures ended. Ambrose with the longevity of the Kagani Elves earned a reputation within the many kingdoms that would soon make Gardenia. Ambrose in his arrogance teamed up with other well-known adventurers to take down a young dragon that took up residence near a farming village. Long story short; they failed and Ambrose was wounded. The healer fixed Ambrose before he could greet the dead.
Ambrose's mortality soon dawned on him. Life wasn't always guarantee. Sure, it never had been but he always lulled himself into thinking it was. This sparked when Ambrose looked into creating false life within his golems. It would be the first step to figuring out true immortality. If Ambrose was immortal then he could enjoy every comfort life has to offer for all eternity.
Although the battle was lost the group of adventurers injured the baby dragon and cause it to flee past the mountain range. This earned them an uproar of praise once word reached back to the kingdoms. It wouldn't be until a few years later that Gardenia was formed. In this spare time Ambrose had scouted out the land and found a spot rich with mana, so much it rivaled Ambrose's home nation of Kagano. He planned to buy off the land, but the noble refused to sell it to an Elf.
When the new King and Queen were put into power and Gardenia was united Ambrose used his prestige to approach them with an offer. He offered an idea for a magical academy so students could better their magic. This would increase the nation's power and also give the peasants an opportunity to better their life. The decision was given the seal of approval and Ambrose came into control of Violetsage, or namely a portion of Violetsage but systemics.
Ambrose uses the money nobles spend to have their children learn magic for his secret immortality research underneath the academy. Sure he does the occasional maintenance on the academy and a scholarship here and there, but if his academy keeps producing good mages then the royal family turns a blind eye to where the money goes.
The Academy still lives on after twenty years with a few hiccups here and there. Nothing our completely competent and passionate headmaster can't handle though! Especially with the help of their associates, The Mage Guild.Though he merely pushes the hard work to the Vice-Principal
