QUEST NAME: Back From the Ruins
QUEST RANK: Adept+
QUEST PARTICIPANTS: Anyone. The difficulty should scale to the rank of the highest ranked participant.
QUEST DESCRIPTION: The Treasure Hunter's guild is an extension of the Explorer's guild. They are tasked with searching for and trading treasures with the members of the guilds. It is a lucrative business that has made some people millionaires. It is also a chance to learn about the history of this world.
A sub-group of that guild calling itself the Explorer's League is calling upon explorers and adventurers to help them deliver a relic. The relic has already been secured. All that is left is to get it to the safety of Valla without any bandits running off with it.
The relic is located in some ruins in southern Asnor, about 10 miles away from the capital. There, a team of explorers and researchers will be found. The quickest path from there to Asnor will cross a valley known for its frequent bandit attacks.
QUEST OBJECTIVES:
Bonus Objective 1 - Capture at least one bandit that attacks the caravan. If there is a Veteran or higher participant, then this bandit should be the bandit leader. The reward will be extra EXP at the end of the mission.
Bonus Objective 2 - Convince the explorers to use an alternative route that avoids the bandits. You should discover something along the way. That something can be anything you want, but understand that there may be a quest that follows up this one. The reward will be an Artifact.
